2023 OCEANIA OPEN ENTRY REMINDER - AUSTRALIA
September 28, 2023
Shooting Australia will sanction and deliver the Oceania Open Events (OOE). These events will be run to ISSF standards and parallel to the Oceania Shooting Federation Championship events.
The OOE will be an opportunity for athletes to compete in a high-level domestic competition. Athletes who have not been selected to their Federations A & B Teams as part of the Oceania Championships are eligible to enter the OOE.
The qualification component of OOE will be conducted concurrently to the Oceania Championship events, but there will be separate finals for each of the Championship and Open competitions. There will be no Olympic Quota opportunities available to those competing in the OOE.
OOE will comprise a single open final that will be comprised of the best male, female and para‑athletes (i.e. together) at the conclusion of qualification. The best Junior in each event will be awarded based on qualification scores.
